This rolling course is arguably the most scenic road 10K in the region. You'll traverse two, one-lane bridges over Catoctin Creek, run beside Catoctin Creek on one of the few remaining gravel roads in the area, and be treated to sweeping vistas of Middletown Valley's splendid farmland. The 5K doesn't traverse any gravel roads, but has one, one-lane bridge that you'll run across twice. It has half of the elevation change and half the mileage of the 10K, but offers all of the fun and sweeping vistas of the countryside.
